NGO Job in BD - BRAC Programme Manager (Contractual)

Job Description / Responsibility

• Ensure implementation of the filed level activities for prevention, protection and social re-integration of Violence Against Women and Children incidents without any duplication of activities of different programmes
• Organise meetings with Central Coordination Committee and Advisory Committee regularly and update them regarding the progress of project activities
• Coordinate with internal/external researchers to ensure impact assessments and periodic action researches
• Communicate and coordinate with BRAC Communications Department to ensure development of effective IEC and BCC materials and their dissemination
• Coordinate with BRAC ICT unit to develop and test a mobile-based solution for strengthening reporting and response to Violence Against Women and Children incidents
• Develop advocacy campaign jointly with Advocacy for Social Change and take part in different advocacy initiatives at local and national level
• Prepare progress reports, project completion reports etc. as per the reporting schedules

Educational Requirements

Masters in Social Science or Masters in Development Studies from any recognized university with minimum 2nd Division/ Class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examination

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 year(s)

• Age At most 42 year(s)
• Having knowledge on development theories, management leadership and capacity building
• Competency on adaptability, teamwork, relation building & change management
• Knowledge of repare articles/ features/ reports regularly
• Ability to make recommendations for programmatic interventions based on the analysis on violence incidents
• Strong communication and advocacy skill
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skill both in English and Bengali
