NGO Job in BD - Plan International Bangladesh Temporary Consultant

Job Description / Responsibility

• Plan�s aim is to introduce �Digital Birth Registration� (DBR) as part of Plan�s Count Every Child initiative that helps governments to improve birth registration rates and extend the reach of registration through the appropriate use of technology within an integrated programme and strengthened Civil Registration & Vital Statistics (CRVS) systems. For this reason, a technical analysis is required to find out the best and effective technical solution through �as is assessment, technical feasibility analysis and developing a high level program design�. So, Plan is expecting a consultant who will be responsible to continue the whole processes.
• Plan International Bangladesh is now seeking Consultant for Digital Birth Registration Technical Analysis
• The consultant will be responsible for the following deliverables:
• Confirm signing of �Letter of Intent� from government /CRVS steering committee,
• Select consultant or consulting firm for DBR technical analysis,
• Assist to review and finalize analysis tools,
• Organize meeting with CRVS committee to share the tools and get final approval on it,
• Conduct field visit to support the team regarding the analysis,
• Coordinate with government stakeholders from local to national level as per requirement during the analysis phases,
• Monitoring pilot initiatives under the study
• Ensure quality documentation and report from the consultant who will perform the analysis,
• Organise national level workshops to share the findings of the analysis,
• Get endorsement of the findings and program blue print by CRVS steering committee,
• Meet donor reporting requirement,
• Develop relationships with key partners to promote a collaborative working environment where appropriate
• Foster national-level commitment to the project at ministries and it�s department levels,
• Identify project risks and issues and accordingly take initiatives to implement,
• Develop and maintain a strong network with relevant government stakeholders and policy makers,
