NGO Job in BD - BRAC Psychologist (Contractual)

Job Description / Responsibility

• Increase violence survivors mental strength by providing them psychosocial counseling as individuals and group
• Maintain documentation of psychosocial counseling related activities, developing reports, updating training modules, handbook prepare etc.
• Provide need base counseling support to violence survivors
• Networking with GO and NGO at the local and National level for the prevention of violence against women
• Material development for smooth functioning of psychosocial activities
• Any other activities necessary to ensure Violence Against Women and Children

Educational Requirements

• Masters in Clinical Psychology from any recognized university with minimum 2nd Division/ Class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examination
• Advanced degree/ certification courses on psychosocial counseling if preferable

Experience Requirements

• At least 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements

• Age At most 42 year(s)
• Only females are allowed to apply.
• Knowledge on psychological counseling, psychotherapy, progressive muscular relaxation, Dealing with uncertainty and gender aspect
• Competency on adaptability, teamwork, relation building & change management
• Strong communication, presentation, advocacy and report writing skill
