Job Description / Responsibility

• Provide technical support, including capacity building, to private sector HFs at different level focusing on, Public Private Mixing and or referral linkages and on identifying and managing high risk groups in TB.
• Knowledge transfer and capacity building for private health facilities in the areas of decentralized planning, operational research, M&E, supervision, Quality Assurance, on TB and MDR/XRD TB.
• Closely work with NTP in Public Private Mixing and or referral linkages and on identifying and managing high risk groups in TB, PPM Program planning, strategy design, implementation and M&E
• Contribute to the overall TB control efforts of the private sector at different levels, with a special emphasis on identifying high risk groups
• Contribute to development of annual work plan, ensuring alignment with project strategy, annual targets and inclusion of PPM+Risk Group and all relevant activities in the work plan;
• Support and oversee the execution of PPM+Risk Group and related activities included in the annual work plan, closely monitor all activities to be done by subgrantees on enhancing TB case detection with particular focus on results, impacts and lessons learnt in close consultation with PD/TB technical team lead
• Work closely with staff members to effectively implement the Challenge TB supported plan in the country;
• Conduct visits to supported sites on request of the National TB Control Program to provide clinical support to health facility staff, in consultation with the PD / TB technical team lead
• Assist M&E people in preparation of consolidated progress reports on PPM+Risk Group and related activities for project management including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation, and providing specific recommendations;
• Provide regular site level clinical mentorship, come-up with workable ideas/recommendations and forward/discuss with PD / TB technical team lead.
• Perform other duties as required.

• At least 5 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience, including prior experience with managing high risk groups for TB , grant /sub grant management,previous engagement in the private sector is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to develop effective working relationships.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and attention to detail.
• Previous USAID experience preferred.
• Ability to travel frequently.
