Job Description / Responsibility

• To assist implementation of WASH project, be implicated in its elaboration, its impact analysis, its integration and sector coordination.
• Ensure implementation of the Hygiene promotional activities based on the proposal and or defined by respective supervisor.
• Plan the activities according to the development of the project.
• Defining the approach and presenting the activities with local stakeholders.
• Regular monitor the hygiene promotional activities at field level.
• Assist to respective supervisor for preparing training budget.
• Conduct training session and provide technical inputs in developing training program and materials like modules, lesson plans, etc.
• Develop theme and ideas for IEC & BCC materials of hygiene promotion activities.
• Develop an approach that create community demand and change community behaviors.
• Ensure the quality of the materials in the field level or in the base level (if needed)
• Report writing skills both in Bangla & English along with sound analytical skills
• Coordinate hygiene activities and sensitize local government and CBOs in the field.
• Elaborate the content of the required training and organize it.
• Train the team of hygiene educators and make sure they transmit messages clearly to the community.

Business : Hope for the Poorest (HP) is a national level NGO, active in the urban & rural development of Bangladesh. HP formally started its work in 2004. Over the way of HP`s history, HP appears to have grown its programs at a reasonable speed, attracting stable sources of funding for its programs. In addition to receiving funding from ASA, it has received funds from several international donors and is presently running projects with funding from WASTE, The Netherlands and the World Bank. Part of the funding from the WASTE, The Netherlands is supporting HP`s ongoing "Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH)" project, and a portion of it is being used to pilot WaSH technology. The funding from the World Bank is being used for a project offering loans to sanitation entrepreneurs, and HP`s health care program was funded by ASA. HP is implementing development programs related to health, education, water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, water credit; especially focusing on sanitation entrepreneurship development and piloting on technology (water & sanitation) and approaches.
